Art Trade with xSymmetry

I'm still going for the modernist look here (I got really bored of the usual anime-ish style) while trying to give it a painting like feel (I cant paint for nuts).
This is probably my first time doing a proper background, I'd say it's pretty challenging.
It was kinda frustrating doing it from scratch thou cos I didnt know how it'll turn out.
Sticking with flat colours meant I had to play with some textures to create contrast and I liked the different effects I get from the mixing and matching of them.
